On D-day and the next day, an antiseptic spray is sprayed on the transplanted area. A revitalizing cream is applied to the donor area for ten days.
An antiseptic shampoo should be used from the third day and for two weeks.
Antibiotic treatment may be prescribed to prevent infection and an anti-inflammatory if the surgery involved the front of the head to prevent swelling of the forehead and eyes.
